The Radiology and medical imaging department is one of the advanced comprehensive diagnostic imaging center in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It encompasses the routine and familiar conventional radiology using X-Rays and Ultra sonography and the modern imaging equipment which includes multi slice C-T Scan and MRI Scan. These are operated by dynamic staff which includes highly specialized Radiologists and caring technologists. Our radiologists are recognized as experts in their field of specialty interests with wide acknowledgement of the contribution to clinical care.
The latest cutting edge technology installed to improvise the department’s range of service includes the 1 Tesla open MRI and the 64 C-T scan to strengthen diagnosis. The images are provided immediately in cases of medical emergency or within 24 hours for routine cases.
Images are provided in the format of hard copies(films) as well as soft copies (CD’s). Patients referred from outside physicians and other facilities are treated in the same manner as those originating from Obeid Hospital. The department is organized into different sections which include:

The radiological services are provided 24/7. The department is open from 9 AM to 10 PM Saturday through Thursday. After these hours emergency services are available for all procedures on an “on-call” basis.

Ultrasound small parts which includes Breast, thyroid, Scrotum and soft tissue including musculoskeletal.
- Non invasive Vascular Color Doppler sonography.

AMBIENT LIGHT : The MRI and C-T Scan rooms are provided with an ambient light system, which integrate room design with changing light and sound. This helps the patient to relax and lay still. The ambient experience provides a unique approach to C.T and MRI clinical environment.

Panorama HFO is unique as it delivers high field MR system performance with patient friendliness, this unit eliminates feeling of anxiety by giving a space that is about 3 times more wide open than traditional MRI scan with 3600 panoramic view. It can accommodate large obese patients with ease, it is designed to perform all advanced clinical applications which include new patients.
The scan tool premium provides dedicated package of optimized examination for virtually all clinical examinations which include Neurological, Orthopedic, Body, Angiography, Breast, Oncology, Pediatric and Cardiology.
The Neuro Premium Package includes high quality high resolution neuro imaging results for assessment of morphology in brain and spine.
The Ortho Premium Package includes high resolution and fast ortho imaging supporting imaging of spine and extremities.
The Body Premium Package enables fast high resolution scan methods.
